UltraTech Cement adds 1.2 mtpa via debottlenecking
UltraTech Cement, an Aditya Birla Group company, has increased domestic capacity to 178.86 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) with the addition of 1.2 mtpa through debottlenecking at two of its plants.
Along with its overseas capacity of 5.4 mtpa, the company’s overall capacity stands at 184.26 mtpa.
The company’s Hirmi Cement Works added 0.8 mtpa capacity, while the Roorkee Cement Works added 0.4 mtpa production capacity through debottlenecking.
