Kochi startup Qwatt Technologies launch 36V LED module for signage industry
Qwatt Technologies, a Kochi based startup, has introduced 36V LED module in the signage and lighting industry. The product, which is claimed to be the first in the industry, is designed for energy efficiency, longer lifespan, and reliability.
The 36V LED module provides over 190 lumens per watt (LPW) which helps to reduce power consumption while maintaining brightness throughout its lifespan. The IP67 rating ensure durability in various environments, and it supports wiring runs of up to 50 meters, simplifying installation and reducing maintenance costs, said a press note.
The module is intended for commercial and signage applications. It features advanced thermal management and offers a warranty of up to 10 years.
Qwatt Technologies, co-founded by Kiran James and Premnath Parayath, is known for its IoT-enabled time switches and energy-efficient solutions.
Premnath Parayath said the new solution can reduce LED module consumption by up to 50 per cent compared to existing products, cutting operational costs. Each component is selected to meet international standards.
“We focus on sustainable practices at every level, addressing industry challenges with scalable technologies that improve performance, reliability, and sustainability”, added Kiran James.
Since its founding, the company has grown rapidly, acquiring over 40 multinational and corporate clients within two years.
