In a series of senior-level leadership changes following Ajoy Chawla’s elevation as Managing Director and CEO of Titan Company, Arun Narayan has been named the next CEO of the company’s Jewellery Division. Narayan, who currently heads the Tanishq India business and is responsible for retail, marketing, and merchandising, will assume the new role from January 1, 2026, succeeding Ajoy Chawla.

Narayan, a postgraduate from IIM-Calcutta, is from the Tata Administrative Services (TAS) cadre, and brings nearly three decades of experience with the Tata Group and Titan across retail, marketing, and sales leadership roles. He has led Tanishq India since April 2020, overseeing retail, marketing, and merchandising. Previously, he held key leadership positions, including Regional Business Head (West, all categories), Helios Business Head, and National Sales & Retail Head for Titan Watches.

Additionally, Titan announced that Kuruvilla Markose, currently CEO of the International Business Division, will take over as CEO of the Watches Division from August 13. He will succeed Suparna Mitra, who is stepping down due to personal reasons.

Markose holds degrees in Agriculture and an MBA from IIFT, New Delhi. A TAS inductee from the 1995 batch, he has three decades of experience across FMCG, telecom, BPO, consulting, digital, and retail sectors within the Tata Group. He joined Titan in 2015 as Chief Digital Officer and has since led international expansion for the company’s Watches, Jewellery, and EyeCare businesses.

On May 13, Titan had informed the stock exchanges that Suparna Mitra, who has been the CEO Watches and Wearables Division for over five years had tendered her resignation, due to personal reasons.
