Home decor start-up Vaaree raises $4.6 mn in pre-Series A round
Home decor marketplace Vaaree has raised $4.6 million in a pre‑series A round led by PeerCapital.
The funding round also saw participation from existing investors Peak XV’s Surge, All In Capital, and new investors Sattva Ventures and the Asian Paints family office.
Vaaree said it would utilise the fresh funds to leverage AI to facilitate product discovery on its platform and increase brand awareness. The start-up is currently developing an AI-powered discovery feature for users, VibeCheck.
It will create moodboards and assist customers in styling their homes. Vaaree is also working on reducing its shipment time to one day from 3-5 days currently.
Founded in 2022, by Garima Luthra, Pranav Arora, and Varun Vohra, Vaaree partners with more than 200 factories that export to premium brands internationally, to offer over 80,000 curated SKUs spanning home décor, bed & bath, kitchen, and lighting at mass‑premium, premium, and luxe price points.
“At Vaaree, we’re building for the Indian home with speed, soul, and smarts. This capital helps us go faster. Launching AI-powered styling with VibeCheck, enabling next-day deliveries through our FBV network, and taking our brand deeper into India. Grateful to our early investors who’ve backed us from Day zero and pushed us to keep raising the bar for our customers,” said Garima Luthra, co-founder at Vaaree.
