Tata Steel invests ₹1,074 crore in Singapore subsidiary

The company purchased equity shares with a face value of $0.1005 each in the Singapore-based entity.

Tata Steel Limited acquired 124.62 crore equity shares worth $125.25 million (₹1,073.63 crore) in its wholly-owned foreign subsidiary T Steel Holdings Pte. Ltd (TSHP) on July 10, 2025. The acquisition maintains TSHP’s status as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Indian steel giant.
The shares of Tata Steel Limited were trading at ₹159.98 down by ₹0.68 or 0.42 per cent on the NSE today at 11.25 pm.
The company purchased equity shares with a face value of $0.1005 each in the Singapore-based entity. This represents the latest tranche of fund infusion into TSHP, following previous disclosures made by Tata Steel on May 12, 2025, and June 25, 2025. The company has been systematically strengthening its international subsidiary through equity subscriptions.
