Bharat Earth Movers Limited has secured two export orders, valued at $6.23 million, from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region, including Uzbekistan.

The orders include the supply of 10 units of its heavy-duty bulldozers, along with a maiden order from Uzbekistan for one unit of its high-performance motor grader, which is essential for infrastructure development and road maintenance in mining operations.

“This is a significant win for BEML and a reflection of our growing global competitiveness,” said Shantanu Roy, Chairman and Managing Director, BEML Ltd. “Our entry into the Uzbekistan market and continued success in the CIS region reaffirm our vision to become a leading player in the international mining and defence markets.”

In an earlier conversation with businessline, Roy spoke about BEML’s export strategy, noting that the company is actively exploring opportunities in the ASEAN and West Asia regions. “We have already submitted bids for metro coach exports in some of these markets and are awaiting the results. Based on current demand, we’re projecting export revenues of ₹1,500–2,000 crore over the next three to four years,” he said.

The company’s shares closed at ₹4,521.90, up 1.59 per cent.
