With improving consumer demand trends, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) maker Godrej Consumer Products expects to deliver high-single-digit value growth on the back of mid-single digit underlying volume growth in Q1 FY26 on a standalone basis, it said in a release.

On a consolidated level, the company is expecting double-digit rupee growth, driven by high-single-digit underlying volume growth.

“Volume Growth has been strongly competitive and is sequentially improving,” it said.

For the full year, it iterated improvement in sequential performance. “We believe for FY26, we are on track to deliver mid-high-single digit UVG for Standalone business, high-single digit Consolidated INR revenue growth and double-digit Consolidated EBITDA growth for the full year.”

In the June quarter, the home care business is expected to deliver double-digit value growth, while the personal care segment is projected to grow in the low single digits, primarily due to the impact of soaps.

“Standalone business excluding soaps (which is seeing a price-volume rebalancing driven by commodity volatility) is expected to deliver a very strong performance this quarter with double-digit UVG. “

The company stated that while the palm oil prices have started moderating towards the end of June, the benefits of the moderation will only be realised in H2 FY26.

The company’s international business in Africa, the USA and the Middle East is likely to deliver strong double-digit value growth for the second consecutive quarter. The company’s Indonesia business is facing an increase in competitive pricing actions across all major categories and is expected to see a relatively flat UVG.
