Goyal Salt commissions modern unit in Kutch

Goyal Salt has inaugurated a modern manufacturing facility at an investment of ₹80 crore at Gandhidham, Kutch in Gujarat.
Spread across 12 acres, the plant with a capacity of 4.5 lakh tonnes is expected to increase Goyal Salt’s production and double its turnover to ₹300 crore in two years.
With this, Goyal Salt aims to boost its market share, consolidating its leadership role in the industry.
Faster delivery
Pramesh Goyal, company MD, said the Gandhidham facility allows the company to get closer to western and eastern markets in the country by reducing logistics cost and enables faster delivery of finished products to customers.
“The Gandhidham facility is another notable step in our ongoing journey to make Goyal Salt a household name in India. As we look forward, our plans include expanding to South,” he added.
Besides Gandhidham, the company has one unit in Nawa City, spread over 15 acres, dedicated for salt refining, raw salt storage and refined salt packaging with a capacity of 2.1 lakh tonnes per annum.
Goyal Salt produces premium industrial and edible salts like Triple Refined Free Flow Iodized Salt, Industrial Salt, Double Fortified Salt, and Triple Refined Half Dry Salt.
The company has built a robust presence in Bihar, Delhi, Haryana, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.
It works with over 60 distributors in North and has appointed distributors in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Assam and Odisha. Currently, the company has a reach of 5,000 retail outlets.
