HLL Lifecare aims to open 50 Hindlabs centres across India by 2030

In the Diamond Jubilee year 2025-26, the company has set a revenue target of ₹1,500 crore.
HLL Lifecare Ltd (HLL) has initiated major expansion plan for its diagnostic division Hindlabs to offer affordable diagnostic services to the people across the country.
As part of the expansion, the company plans to set up five new Hindlabs centres with tentative locations in Kerala, Telangana and two other States to offer diagnostic services at significantly lower rates than other laboratories. The initiative comes in the Diamond Jubilee year to support the company’s long-term growth plan that includes an ambitious target of launching 50 additional Hindlabs centres across the country by 2030.
HLL aims to garner revenue of ₹2,500 crore from Hindlabs by 2029-30. In the Diamond Jubilee year 2025-26, the company has set a revenue target of ₹1,500 crore. Last year, Hindlabs generated revenue of ₹1,460 crore.
Hindlabs was launched by HLL Lifecare in 2008 as a public diagnostic services initiative and there are 224 centres operational across 14 States. These centres offer diagnostic tests at significantly lower rates.
Tests at lower rates
Across the country, Hindlabs centers conducted nearly 374 million diagnostic tests, benefiting around 85 million people. This has led to an estimated ₹1,000 crore in savings for patients compared to standard market rates.
In the current fiscal, Hindlabs aims to serve 17 million beneficiaries by conducting 130 million diagnostic tests nationwide. In 2029-30, it aims to generate patient savings of ₹8,500 crore by conducting 220 million diagnostic tests nationwide, targeting 28 million beneficiaries.
With expansion plans, including 50 new Hindlabs centres by 2030, a nationwide retail diagnostics network, and cutting-edge specialty facilities for molecular and genetic testing, the company aims to provide world-class, affordable healthcare solutions to millions, said Ajit N, Director of Marketing, HLL Lifecare Ltd. “We are also exploring overseas opportunities, with our first centre likely to come up in Ghana through strategic partnerships,” said.
