Indira IVF Hospital enters Puducherry with stake in Creation Science IVF

Indira IVF Hospital Limited has inked an agreement to acquire a stake in Creation Science IVF Private Limited, which operates Srishti Hospital — marking Indira IVF’s entry into the Puducherry region.

This is part of Indira IVF’s plan to make fertility care more accessible to couples across the country, a note from the chain said, without disclosing financial details.

Puducherry-based Srishti Hospital offers assisted reproductive technology services, with the infrastructure and clinical expertise to support both female and male fertility needs. Under Dr. Soumyaroop Dash and his team, the hospital will continue providing ART and IVF services, a note from Indira IVF said.

The demand for fertility care in India is driven by lifestyle changes, increasing awareness, and a rise in chronic diseases. In Puducherry, the Total Fertility Rate stands at 1.5, according to the National Family Health Survey (NFHS-5), which is below the replacement level — underscoring the need for accessible ART services in the region, the note said.

“With Srishti Hospital joining its national network, Indira IVF aims to bring in structured protocols, supportive digital systems, and consistency in care, with the objective of enhancing the overall patient experience,” it added.

Kshitiz Murdia, Chief Executive Officer and Whole-Time Director, Indira IVF, said that collaborating with Srishti brings in regional insight and community trust — complementing Indira IVF’s strengths in clinical systems, technology, and consistent care.

Soumyaroop Dash, Founder of Srishti Hospital, added, “Srishti was founded to bring fertility care closer to home for couples in Puducherry. We are now poised to build on our strong foundation by combining local insight with national expertise, further advancing the quality and reach of fertility care in the region.”
