Nippon Life India Asset Management has appointed Andrew Holland as Head of the proposed new asset class Specialised Investment Fund (SIF) introduced recently by SEBI.

Holland will spearhead NAM India’s strategic expansion in the emerging space. This investment avenue bridges the gap between traditional mutual funds and portfolio management services, offering sophisticated investment alternatives with a minimum commitment of ₹10 lakh, appealing to high-net-worth individuals.

With 42 years of experience, Holland has worked across the UK, Asia, Japan and Indian markets. He will report directly to Sailesh Raj Bhan, Chief Investment Officer – Equity Investments.

He served as the CEO of Avendus Capital Public Markets Alternate Strategies LLP since 2016.

Sundeep Sikka, Executive Director & CEO, Nippon Life India Asset Management said the proposed new asset class presents significant growth potential and Andrew’s expertise will drive the proposed business.
