Nissan Magnite makes West Asia debut with Saudi Arabia launch
Japanese auto-maker Nissan has officially launched its Magnite in Saudi Arabia, marking the compact SUV’s West Asia debut and making the region the first in the world to receive the left-hand-drive (LHD) model.
The LHD Magnite was unveiled at an event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The launch aligns with Nissan’s global strategy, “One Car, One World,” ensuring the Magnite is tailored to meet the diverse needs of drivers across multiple markets, according to a statement.
Manufactured at Nissan’s Alliance Plant in Chennai (RNAIPL), the Nissan Magnite has already gained significant popularity in India and international markets, with over 1.5 lakh units sold since its launch in December 2020. Initially exported to just 20 countries, enhanced manufacturing capabilities have now enabled the production of LHD models, expanding its reach to new markets worldwide.
