NSE/BSE, Top Gainers & Top Losers Today 7 Mar 2025: Reliance, Nestlé, Tata Motors lead

Share prices of Reliance Industries Ltd., Nestlé India Ltd., Tata Motors Ltd., Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd., and Tata Steel Ltd. emerged as the top gainers on Friday.

Among the laggards were shares of Zomato Ltd., IndusInd Bank Ltd., NTPC Ltd., Infosys Ltd., and HCL Technologies Ltd.

The BSE Sensex ended the session nearly flat, shedding 0.02 per cent or 14.83 points to close at 74,332.58, while the NSE Nifty 50 edged 0.04 per cent or 8.95 points higher to settle at 22,552.50.

Top Gainers

Reliance Industries led the gains, rising 3.18 per cent to ₹1,249.10, supported by strong buying interest.

Nestlé India advanced 1.62 per cent to ₹2,237.30, while Tata Motors added 1.36 per cent to close at ₹648.45.

Adani Ports saw a 0.81 per cent gain to ₹1,144.45, and Tata Steel rounded out the top five, climbing 0.80 per cent to ₹151.55.

Top losers

Zomato was the biggest laggard, falling 3.82 per cent to ₹216.80 on profit-booking.

IndusInd Bank declined 3.53 per cent to ₹936.80, while NTPC slipped 2.49 per cent to ₹329.35.

Infosys and HCL Technologies saw losses of 1.60 per cent and 1.55 per cent, closing at ₹1,685.75 and ₹1,560.65, respectively.

Despite minimal movement in key indices, overall market capitalisation touched a five-day high of ₹39.9 lakh crore, reflecting resilience amid cautious sentiment.
