RailTel secures ₹25.15 crore contract from HPCL 


The shares of RailTel Corporation of India Ltd were trading at 327.10 up by ₹17.35 or 5.60 per cent on the NSE today at 11.22 am.

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd announced yesterday that it has secured a work order worth ₹25.15 crore (excluding taxes) from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL). The company informed stock exchanges about this development on March 23, 2025.

According to the regulatory filing, the contract involves providing MPLS/ILL links services to HPCL for a five-year period, running from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2030. The agreement serves as a rate contract for both renewal of existing MPLS/ILL links and potential new connections that may be established during the contract period, subject to feasibility confirmation.

The Navratna PSU confirmed in its disclosure that the order does not involve any related party transactions and that no promoter, promoter group, or group companies have any interest in HPCL.
