Roto Pumps launches P Range compact pumps, aims $100 M revenue by 2028
Roto Pumps, an Indian multinational specialising in positive displacement pumps, unveiled a new line of compact pumps and expanded manufacturing infrastructure on Thursday as part of its push to achieve $100 million revenue by 2028.
The newly launched P Range pumps are engineered for durability and high performance across sectors such as oil and gas, mining, wastewater treatment and food processing, said the company.
A positive displacement pump moves fluid by enclosing a fixed volume and then physically displacing it. This is different from dynamic pumps, which use rotating parts to generate pressure and move fluid. Positive displacement pumps ensure that a known volume of fluid is delivered with each cycle, regardless of pressure changes in the discharge system.
Harish Chandra Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director of Roto Pumps, said with the launch of the Roto P Range, the company is reaffirming its position as a global force in fluid handling.
Anurag Gupta, Joint Managing Director, said the P Range pumps are expected to drive global expansion and contribute to double-digit growth in the international market share.
The company aims to strengthen its presence in North America, Europe, Africa, West Asia and Southeast Asia, where demand for energy-efficient and low-maintenance pumps is growing, he said.
Arvind Gupta, Deputy Managing Director, said the new range of pumps was developed with an emphasis on easy installation, low maintenance and performance precision, reflecting the company’s customer-first approach.
Roto Pumps has a presence in over 55 countries and has five manufacturing units. It has overseas establishments across India, the US, the UK, Australia, Germany, Malaysia and South Africa.
Founded over five decades ago, Roto has completed over 3,25,000 pump installations and claims to have addressed over 5,000 complex fluid handling challenges across 25 industries. Its global operations include regional assembly hubs and warehouses, which enable faster delivery and localised customer service.
Roto said the P Range forms a key part of its roadmap to expand into over 100 countries and strengthen its position in the positive displacement pump segment. The company said future growth will be driven by continued innovation, automation, strategic international partnerships and sustainable, energy-efficient technologies.
