Saregama Q3 net up 19% at Rs ₹62.34 crore as revenue rises two-fold
Saregama, a RPSG Group company, on Monday reported around 19 per cent year-on-year increase in its consolidated net profit to ₹62.34 crore for the third quarter this fiscal, buoyed by over two-fold jump in its revenue from operations.
The company, which hosts the largest music archives in India, had posted ₹52.35 crore net profit for the third quarter last fiscal.
Revenue from operations grew to ₹483.43 crore for the third quarter of FY25 compared to ₹204.26 crore for the corresponding period of FY24 as during the period revenue from the events segment posted a whopping growth. Revenue from the events segment rose to ₹278.89 crore during the period under review from ₹10.04 crore for the same period a year ago, according to a stock exchange filing.
Strong position

Our focus will continue to be profitable growth as we look forward to unlocking synergies from the complementary business verticals.”
Content charge increased to ₹31.8 crore for Q3FY25 as compared to ₹24.6 crore for Q3FY24, registering a 29 per cent y-o-y growth. During the Quarter, the company forayed into Hip Hop Music with acquisition of 130 plus songs of MTV Hustle 4.
It released over 1,250 originals and premium recreations across Hindi, Bhojpuri, Gujarati, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi and Bengali languages. The company also released more than 400 derivatives (LoFi, Trap Mix, Cover, Acoustic etc.) which was driving the popularity and growth of its catalogue, it said in a release.
Saregama’s board declared an interim dividend of ₹4.50 per share.
