Waaree receives LoA for ₹232 cr ground-mounted solar project
Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd (WRTL) has received a Letter of Award (LOA) for the execution of a ground-mounted solar power project, valued at approximately ₹232.3 crore, an official release stated on Wednesday.
The project, with an installed capacity of 170 MW AC / 255 MW DC, will be executed on a turnkey basis, covering comprehensive engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, along with long-term operation & maintenance (O&M).
Viren C Doshi, Director of Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd, stated: “More than just a contract win, this project is a demonstration of WRTL’s role as a driving force in India’s energy transition. Our expertise in EPC and O&M enables us to deliver innovative solar infrastructure that ensures long-term energy security, economic growth, and environmental sustainability. We’re not just deploying solar infrastructure; we’re engineering a sustainable economic transformation. Every megawatt we install is a statement of resilience, a blueprint for a decarbonized future where technology, ecology, and economic progress converge.”
The ground-mounted solar farm exemplifies the country’s shift from fossil fuel dependency to a distributed, decentralized renewable energy model, the release added.
