ADS Spirits targets revenue of bn in 5 years

ADS Spirits, makers of Royal Green Whisky, targets revenue of $1 billion (about Rs 8,600 crore) by 2030, given growing domestic demand and expansion in global markets.

The company has already achieved $500 million in revenue with 25 per cent compound annual growth rate of its flagship Royal Green Whisky over the past decade.

The financial performance reflects the company’s strategic focus on innovation, premium quality and consumer-centric offerings. As ADS Spirits prepares to venture into premium segments such as Irish whiskey and craft gin, its financial performance demonstrates its evolving role in the global spirits market.

To mark this special occasion, the brand has introduced a limited-edition 10th Anniversary Celebratory Pack as a token of acknowledgement to its consumers.

Launched initially in Haryana and Delhi, the brand quickly expanded its footprint across multiple states in India by 2016. By 2017, Royal Green celebrated the milestone of 1 million cases sold and 20 million cases pan-India by 2024.

The brand has extended its reach to key international markets, including Russia, the UAE, Vietnam, Singapore, Cambodia, Malaysia, Oman, and the United States (California). This global expansion has been pivotal in Royal Green’s sustained growth over the past decade.

Virat Maan, Chief Executive Officer of ADS Spirits, said that with the strong brand recall, the company intends to continue growing, innovating, and delivering high-quality whisky for many more decades to come.

Founded in 2011, ADS Spirits is a leading player in India’s liquor industry. Its focus is on premium whisky, vodka, gin, and rum.

The company operates modern distilleries and boasts a robust distribution network across India and several international markets.

Paras Maan, Chief Operating Officer, ADS Spirits said from a humble beginning as a home-grown company we have managed to make a mark in the Indian alcobev space amid fiercely competitive well-established multinational players.

India remains the largest whisky consumer globally, accounting for over 50 per cent of the world’s whisky consumption.
