BEML profit dips 49% to ₹24 cr in Q3


BEML reported a consolidated net profit of ₹24.41 crore for the third quarter of FY25 down 49.35 per cent compared to ₹48.2 crore in Q3 of FY24.

Revenue was down to ₹875.77 crore, a decline of 16.35 per cent. Total expenses decreased to ₹850.70 crore on a YoY basis.

During the quarter, the PSU signed an MoU with the National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) to develop solutions for hydroelectric power plants. It also partnered with Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd (MDL) to jointly advance R&D for developing technologies for marine applications. In addition, it secured a ₹136-crore contract in December to supply indigenously designed High Mobility Vehicles (HMVs) 8×8.

The consolidated profit for the nine-month (9MFY25) period was at ₹4.97 crore, down 80.1 per cent, compared to ₹24.98 crore recorded in 9MFY24.

The company shares closed at ₹3,281.80, down 3.04 per cent on the BSE.
