Car marketplace platform CARS24 acquires automotive forum Team-BHP

CARS24’s involvement will work to boost Team-BHP’s product, technology and AI capabilities to improve overall user experience 

Car marketplace start-up CARS24 has acquired automotive forum Team-BHP according to their official press release. As part of the acquisition, Team-BHP will continue to operate independently by its founding team. CARS24’s involvement will work to boost Team-BHP’s product, technology and AI capabilities to improve overall user experience and bring in new features that help members make automotive decisions.

Founded in 2015 by Mehul Agrawal, Ruchit Agarwal, Vikram Chopra and Gajendra Jangid, Cars24 serves an online platform that allows car owners to sell their used vehicles. In March, the car marketplace company ventured into the new car market with an aggregator platform that is built to provide real-time and city-wise prices of cars as well as AI walk-throughs for potential buyers. This was preceded by the launch of Cars24 Driving School, discovery platform on its app for users to find nearby driving schools.

Team-BHP was launched in 2004 as an online platform for car enthusiasts and currently has a database of over 3 million posts and over 15 million annual visitors according to their official website.
