Earnings preview: L&T may post double digit revenue growth in Q4 on strong order growth
With strong growth in orders from the Middle East, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is expected to post double-digit revenue growth.
Analysts have projected revenue growth of up to 20 per cent, with the company receiving Qatar Energy’s largest order to date during the quarter.
“ A revenue growth of 19 per cent year-on-year led by 21 per cent year-on-year growth for core E&C. We expect a core E&C EBITDA margin of 9 per cent. Will look out for execution ram-ups in Saudi projects and trends in the GCC orders,” mentions Motilal Oswal Financial Services.
The engineering major will be announcing its results later today.
The company’s Profit After Tax (PAT) could grow 13 per cent to ₹4,860 crore over the year-ago quarter.
“Order inflow is expected to continue at 23 per cent year-on-year growth from the Middle East. The company revenue is expected to grow 16.5 per cent year-on-year to ₹78,113 crore. PAT up by 14.2 per cent year-on-year at ₹4,912 crore,” mentions Kotak Institutional Equities.
