Mahindra & Mahindra Q3 results preview: Automaker seen reporting double-digit revenue growth

Driven by an increase in volume in the automobile and farm segments, Indian automaker Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) is expected to report a double-digit revenue growth in Q3.

According to analysts, the company is expected to report a 17 per cent growth in automobile volumes and a 20 per cent growth in farm equipment. The automaker will be reporting its quarterly results later today.

“We expect M&M revenue to rise 20.7 per cent year-on-year in Q3FY25. The EBITDA margin is expected to be at 14.8 per cent with segment mix and operating leverage benefits,” stated Kotak Equities.

Analysts have stated that the automobile segment margins during the quarter are expected to be impacted due to deep discounting during the festive season.

“The tractor segment margins are expected to improve 100 bps quarter-on-quarter to 18.5 per cent while automobile segment margin could decline 50 bps quarter-on-quarter due to discounts and promotional spending in the quarter. The tractor segment is expected to post a recovery with 20 per cent year-on-year growth during the quarter,” mentions Motilal Oswal.

Mahindra & Mahindra has reported a 35 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at ₹3,170 crore for the quarter that ended in September. The company’s revenue from operations increased by 1.83 per cent to ₹37,689 crore in Q2.
