    Q4 results live: Bank of Maharashtra Q4 profit rises by 23 pc to Rs 1,493 cr – PTI

    State-owned Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) on Friday reported a 23 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 1,493 crore for the March 2025 quarter.

    The Pune-based lender had earned a net profit of Rs 1,218 crore in the year-ago period.

    During the quarter, the bank’s total income increased to Rs 7,711 crore as against Rs 6,488 crore a year ago, BoM said in a regulatory filing.

    Interest income grew to Rs 6,731 crore during the period under review, from Rs 5,467 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.

    The bank’s board has recommended a dividend of Rs 1.5 per share or 15 per cent for the year ended March 31, 2025.

    Gross Non-Performing Assets (GNPAs) declined to 1.74 per cent of gross advances as of March 31 from 1.88 per cent by the end of March 2024.

    Net NPAs also came down to 0.18 per cent of the advances from 0.25 per cent at the end of 2024.

    Hindustan Zinc Q4 profit jumps 47 per cent to Rs 3,003 cr – PTI

    Vedanta group firm Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZL) on Friday reported a 47.3 increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 3,003 crore in the quarter ended March 2025 on the back of higher income.

    The company had posted a net profit of Rs 2,038 crore in the year-ago period.

    Income of the company during the latest January-March quarter increased to Rs 9,314 crore from Rs 7,822 crore in the year-ago period, HZL said in a filing to BSE.

    In a statement the company said that it was its “best-ever fourth quarter profit after tax of Rs 3,003 crore, up 47 per cent Y-o-Y”.

    “As the world’s largest integrated zinc producer, we aim to meet rising domestic demand while maintaining our position as one of the lowest-cost producers globally and most resilient producers in the industry,” company’s Chief Executive Officer Arun Misra said.

    HZL’s Chief Financial Officer Sandeep Modi said despite the global uncertainties, including recent market volatility from the ongoing trade war, the company’s fundamentals remain robust.

    “With a strong balance sheet, structurally leaner cost base and clear strategic direction, Hindustan Zinc is well-positioned to navigate external headwinds and continue delivering consistent, industry-leading returns,” he said.

    Hindustan Zinc is a leading integrated zinc producer and amongst the top five silver producers globally. The company supplies to more than 40 countries and holds about 75 per cent share of the primary zinc market in India.

    Maruti Q4 net profit dips 1 pc to Rs 3,911 cr; FY25 profit at Rs 14,500 cr – PTI

    Maruti Suzuki India on Friday said its consolidated net profit slipped 1 per cent year-on-year to Rs 3,911 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025.

    The country’s largest carmaker reported a net profit of Rs 3,952 crore in the January-March quarter of FY24.

    Total revenue increased to Rs 40,920 crore during the March quarter last fiscal as compared with Rs 38,471 crore in the year-ago period, Maruti Suzuki India said in a regulatory filing.

    For the full year ended March 31, 2025, the maker of models like Swift and Grand Vitara reported a net profit of Rs 14,500 crore, up 7.5 per cent, against Rs 13,488 crore in 2023-24 fiscal.

    Revenue rose to Rs 1,52,913 crore in FY25 from Rs 1,41,858 crore in FY24.

    Shares of Maruti Suzuki were trading 0.58 per cent down at Rs 11,831.40 apiece on the BSE.

    Realty firm Macrotech Developers Ltd on Thursday reported a 38 per cent increase in consolidated profit to Rs 921.7 crore for the March quarter on higher income.

    Its net profit stood at Rs 665.5 crore in the year-ago period. Total income rose to Rs 4,420.3 crore in the fourth quarter of the previous fiscal year from Rs 4,083.9 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding year, according to a regulatory filing.

    Net profit increased to Rs 2,764.3 crore during 2024-25 from Rs 1,549.1 crore in the preceding year.

    Total income grew to Rs 14,169.8 crore last fiscal year from Rs 10,469.5 crore in 2023-24.

    SBI Life Insurance shares rallied 9.5 per cent in early trade following Q4 results. 

    Leading the pack of Nifty 50 gainers, the stock traded 6.14 per cent higher at ₹1,707 on the NSE as at 9.30 am, hitting a high of ₹1,762.

    The insurance company reported a marginal increase in net profit at ₹813.51 crore in Q4FY25, as its net premium income fell around 5 per cent y-o-y during the period.

    Q4 results live: Adani Energy Solutions clock all-time high PAT for FY25

    Driven by contributions from recently commissioned transmission projects, robust energy sales and contribution from the smart metering business, Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (formerly Adani Transmission Ltd) clocked an all-time high profit after tax (PAT) of ₹2,427 crore for FY25.

    The PAT rose 103 per cent aided by strong EBITDA growth and a reversal of ₹469 crore in net deferred tax liability primarily from divesting AEML’s Dahanu plant and regulatory income of ₹148 crore in transmission and distribution businesses, the company stated in an official release.

    Credit card major SBI Cards and Payment Services reported a 19 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y) drop in Q4FY25 net profit to ₹534 crore, due to higher asset impairments and subsequent provisions. On a sequential basis, however, the bottom line was up 39 per cent.

    Reliance Industries is seen reporting flat operating profit sequentially in the March quarter due to weak earnings in its dominant oils-to-chemicals business and also muted growth in its retail business.

    RIL is seen recording around 3.4 per cent sequential rise in consolidated net profit in Q4 and revenue down 1.4 per cent, according to estimates by Elara Capital. Net profit is pegged at ₹19,171 crore and revenue at ₹2.4 lakh crore. 

    Retail and digital revenues are expected to grow in low single digits.
