MRG Group plans to add 2300 keys by 2035


MRG Group, a hospitality and real estate player plans to expand its portfolio by adding over 2300 keys, up from its current 1,200 keys, by 2035. This growth will include a mix of its own Goldfinch properties and strategic international partnerships.

Additionally, it plans to expand to Hyderabad, Chennai, Gurugram (Delhi NCR), Ahmedabad, and Pune. MRG Group also has properties under development in Goa, Chikkamagaluru, Sakleshpur, Mangaluru, and Bengaluru.

“We are focused on creating immersive destinations that combine world-class service with authentic experiences,” said K Prakash Shetty, Founder and Chairman, MRG Group. “With an average occupancy rate of 85 percent across our operational properties, this expansion reinforces our commitment to shaping India’s future as a global tourism hub.”

Founded in 1993, the company operates 11 hotels across India, all of which are owned and managed in-house. It has strategic partnerships with Marriott and Hilton in India.
